A founding member of TSQ, Evan has served as principal second violin with the UCDavis Symphony Orchestra and as concertmaster with YOSAC. He has also been a member of the Cotati Philharmonic. He is also a member of the Symphony of the Redwoods in Mendocino, Apollo Baroque Orchestra, and UCDavis Baroque Ensemble. He is currently a member of the Bohemian Club Orchestra in San Francisco and concertmaster of the Cotati Philharmonic. He conducted the Cotati Philharmonic in their 2005 Pops Concerts. He is a freelance composer and arranger. He holds a B.A. in Music and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UCDavis and is a recipient of the David S. Saxon award for excellence the performance of early music.
