Empire

This map is supposed to be reminiscent of the Holy Roman Empire ca. 1620; the time of the Thirty Years' War. I created it for a campaign idea, though I doubt I'll ever get to use it. I only detailed the terrain inside the Empire itself -- the outlying countries are undefined. I think this one turned out rather well, especially since I didn't really spend too much time looking at real maps of Germany before making it (I think I only referenced real maps to do the rivers). Of course, it's not anywhere near accurate to the real world, but it really wasn't meant to be.
