The St. Martha Council was founded in 2006 through the efforts of Fr. John Walsh and Perry Page.
It is named after St. Martha, all we hear about Martha is the simple statement: "Martha served." She isn't in the spotlight, she doesn't do showy things, she doesn't receive spectacular miracles. She simply serves Jesus.
But wouldn't it be wonderful if the most important thing that could be said about us is "They served"?
The St. Martha Council works closely with the
St. Martha Family Parish in Plainville, providing
funds for various projects, members being active participants in their
parish. etc.
