
The first casting April 11, 2004
This may or may not be the correct way to do this, but its what
we did and the results we achieved.

1. The drag on the molding board with the pattern in place. 2. Ramming the drag.
3. Striking off the drag.
4. The drag flipped over. 5. Coping down to the parting line. 6. The finished
drag.
7. Parting dust & cope in place. 8. Ramming the cope. 9. Cope & drag
almost ready.



10. Pattern is removed & gates and riser are cut in. 11. The finished flask.
12. Skimming off the dross.



Let the pouring begin.



The extra goes into the ingot mold for later.
