"Most People I Know Think That I'm Crazy" Lyrics

(Written by Billy Thorpe, copyright 1972/Mushroom Music - Used with Permission)

Can be found on the following albums: "It's All Happening" and "Lock Up Your Mothers"(1972 studio version), "Pick Me Up and Play Me Loud" (1976 Studio Version), and "Live At Sunbury" (1972 Live Version).

Most People I know think that I'm Crazy

And I know at times I act a little hazy

But if that's my way and you should know it

Then in every way help me to show it

For most of my life I've lived a delusion

Material gain has caused me confusion

But slowly in time I learnt that my place is

To tell all that I meet the Glory that God is....

I dop't know of any Tablature, but here are the basic chords (It's really simple).

It's in the key of A

Strum an A5 chord

Then add a dropped G note to the A chord and add a D on top.

At the "Think that I'm Crazy" line, the chords are D, A, G, E.

That's the whole tune - really simple.

Hello,

You may remember me - I am the person who placed the "Unofficial Billy Thorpe Website" on the Internet -

Over the past two years, I have received no less than Fifty (yes, 50) requests for me to post the Lyrics to "Most People I Know" - I know it's the Line "To tell all that I meet / the glory that God Is." that throws them.......

May I have Permission to reprint the lyrics on the website?

Please instruct me as to how It should legally be worded to meet with your approval (Publishing company info, ASCAP or BMI, etc, etc).

Please note that I do not receive any compensation from this website - it is strictly to promote the name and music of Billy Thorpe, and to assist in keeping his carreer continuing.

Thank you very much for forwarding this to the proper parties.
