I went to change and move my hummingbird feeder
in Wilton, NH. I moved it to a shadier location.
As soon
as I got there a female landed on this feeder and a male hovered
up and down and around her as she drank. The males throat was a bright neon orange that appeared to glow. Amazing.
I couldn't get my camera out in time to take some pics. They disappeared and a couple of minutes later
this male landed on it.
A couple of minutes after I moved the feeder to the edge of the woods
and changed the feeder a female
landed on the feeder.
A little later this male landed on it.
It appears his throat is turning that bright neon
orange color.
