Gottlieb and Mary had six children in all: Fred (born December 19, 1850; died 10/23/1912), Dietrich (born November 1852; married Louisa Merkle)
, Dorothy (born about 1855; married August Farber), George (born about 1856; died 11/10/1912), Mary (born after 1860; married Gus Schwartz), and Louisa (born after 1860; married Rudolf Boemke).
