THE HOUSE OF LIGHT

     The beatific Powers of this House nurture and reward all that is compassionate and noble and just in mortal souls, taking no notice of the shell of flesh that houses them. Nine in number, these True Gods weep for the suffering of all Minarra, and rejoice in the courage and virtue that mortals summon to overcome the vicissitudes of life.

     There is no "ruler" over this House, no leader chosen to make decisions or impose order when there is dissension in the ranks...these Powers are above and beyond such petty concerns. The members of the House think of themselves as family, and encourage their mortal servants to do the same—towards their masters and each other. This powerful philosophy has graced both the House and their faithful with a purpose and a will that has been the undoing of their dark rivals for centuries beyond counting.

     The mortals of Minarra have a favorite name for the abode of these majestic Powers, the one so often found in the pages of the Astarith: The Blessed Havens. Sadly, little is known of the Havens aside from their unearthly peace and beauty.
