THE HOUSE OF SHADOW

Neither dazzled by the Light nor blinded by the Darkness, the six Powers of the House of Shadow oversee those facets of mortal existence that are beyond such concerns--at least as the True Gods see the mortal world.

Though there are undeniable tensions between some members of the House, the members of this divine body coexist more or less harmoniously. Mortals often look upon the House as a collection of self-governing ministries, each with its clearly defined responsibilities and duties. Operating with complete autonomy, there is no need for either a governing body or an apparatus for collective decision-making. It is revealing that no Power of the House has ever contradicted this view.

The abode of this House is known by but a single name: the Vale of the Gray. Aside from the eternal swirling fogs that waft across the Vale, nothing else is revealed in scripture or in mortal chronicles.
