Elodía,
Adept of the Black Unicorn CG Human
Cleric [Dianne Crooker]: Like Sam's
Adept Ror, Dianne's servant of the House of Light was one of her earliest AD&D
characters. But unfortunately, Dianne joined the Companions in
the final weeks of the quest, and was not afforded the opportunity
to make this borrowed character truly her own.
Nonetheless, Dianne was certainly able to infuse Elodía's character with the in-your-face attitude common among the servants of Phyrrus. Indeed, Dianne insisted that the others address her by her adopted elven name (which roughly translates as "Strident") and not her human one. Once she even dared to tell Lady Hirroven, the Serenity of her Order, to "Stop calling me Jenny!"
Author's Note: Some years back, Dianne made me the most delightful stuffed monster as a Christmas gift. Her creation has a place of honor in my den as the ever vigilant guardian of my laser printer. The critter was also the inspiration for one of the most original monsters I've ever created for Minarra...
