Lowen Silverbert NG Gnome Fighter [Jeanne Bowker]:
I'm sure just about every DM out there has had males
playing female characters and vice versa. Well, this was a first
for me, and for a good long time the fact would occasionally slip
my mind. But Jeanne was always a good egg...
Lowen was a lot like his player:
laid back and easygoing, yet not at all prone to idle prattle.
There were times that Lowen would go for hours, even days, without
a word to anyone--and then, like a bolt from the blue, he'd come
out with some deeply profound thought or clever insight. Unlike
most of the Companions, Lowen kept his distance from the "Dweomermist Question"; he
much preferred his self-appointed assignment as the quartermaster
to the Companions.

missiles cast by the submerged Vauldraani
quickly disabused him of that notion...
- Chrysania's
penance for the Aeris spying incident was to retrieve a rare
medicinal lichen from the antarctic islands and, naturally, the
Companions decided to tag along. While preparing for the voyage,
Lowen came up with an idea that could make or break the expedition.
With the Companions' consent, he took 1000 gp of party
money and purchased a wealth of metal trade goods for the isak living in that frozen waste. If
anyone would know where the lichen was, the Selawik certainly
would...
