Children of John are divided among wives by Belle Harris Wilson and Lucile Butler Keena in family group sheets in LDS Archives. Lucile mentions "Clement King of Marshfield MA"by George Austin Morrison Jr and also Genealogical and Family History of Western NY"

Death of wife approximated from Birth of three children. These three children of John and Hannah are in Providence Birth records.

marriage to Miss Winsor is based on the following Glocester records:
This may inform you that our ancient brother, James King, of Gloucester,
departed this life on the 19th day of November, A. D. 1756, which we desire
you would enter on your records. To the Town Clerk of Gloucester.

Info on the above Samuel Winsor:
Samuel was b. 18 Nov. 1677, d. 17 Nov. 1758; son of Samuel Winsor & Mercy Williams
Mercy is the dau. of Roger Williams - founder of Rhode Island. Mercy m. (1) Resolved Waterman,

If anyone can get me a copy of this document, it may help to provide proof to gain recognition for the descendants of James & Sarah. I'd appreciate it if someone would attempt to locate this document and send me a copy to the PMB address on the main King page. THANKS! Web site owner, Tina Hall

He also married 13 Oct 1734 in Providence, Providence, RI, (38) Persis Turpin who was born about 1680 in Glocester, Providence, RI. All information on Persis is from the LDS Archives FGS by Belle Wilson of American Fork UT, about 1965. She mentioned "Ancestral Lines". Persis was married (1) to William Brooks.

(7) Elizabeth King, daughter of Clement and Elizabeth (BAKER) King, was born about 1680 in Marshfield, MA. NAME is given as Elizabeth by Tingley, but others do not give her name. I think her existence is supposedly proven by the fact that her brother, Thomas, mentioned her husband as his brother, Richard Harris. Marie Prince, 19453 Halsted St, Northridge CA 91324, researched from standpoint of the Harris family. This dau of Clement is ancestor of Martin Harris, witness of Book of Mormon. Marie concluded that it is not possible to tell from records what her name was--I left as Elizabeth to match commonly circulated records. Another researcher lists her as Lydia. See her ahnentafel or email torve@enter.net.

(8) Thomas King, son of Clement and Elizabeth (Baker) King, was born about 1682 in Marshfield, MA. thomas died 10 Oct 1723, Providence, RI.
