GENERATION FIVE - CHARLES KING(15515)

Charles King(15515), son of Charles King(1551), married (1) Elizabeth Rhodes in 1783 and (2) Elizabeth Benton 11 July 1796. He lived on Rocquist adjoining his father and other King relatives and died in 1819, only one year after his father. He left a will and there are estate papers and several court documents pertaining to him.

WILLIAM KING(155151) - was in Tennessee in 1820 HENRY KING(155152) - b. before 1794. Was in Stewart County, Tennessee in 1835 CHARLES KING(155153) - m. Catherine, surname unknown. Died in 1821 in Bertie County. Had only one child, a daughter CHARLES ANN RHODA KING, who was later in Stewart County, Tennessee. It is interesting to note that three generations of Charles Kings died in the same area of Bertie County only three years apart. This attests to the old age of the first of these, Charles(1551) who died in 1818. The relationship between the three is clearly shown in numerous court documents trying to straighten out their estates. JOHN KING(155154) - b. before 1794. Was in Tennessee, possibly Stewart County, in 1820. TIMOTHY B. KING(155155) - b. 1794-1804. Was in Stewart County, Tennessee in 1820. JAMES KING(155156) - b. 1794-1804. Was in Stewart County, Tennessee in 1820. RICHARD KING(155157) - Was still a minor in 1820. Married Harriett, surname unknown, and died childless in Bertie County in 1825. JUDAH KING(155158) - m. John A. Caudle and was in Stewart County, Tennessee in 1820. GEORGE B. KING(155159) - Was still a minor in 1820. SALLY KING(15515a) - m. John Freeman 20 July 1825 in Bertie County. ALSE KING(15515b) - in Tennessee in 1820.

GENERATION FIVE - BENTON KING(15516)

Benton King(15516), son of Charles King(1551), married Sally Smith, daughter of Silas Smith. He was still in Bertie County in 1836.
