There is NOTHING like having a red-hot piece of high-tech energy hurling hardware burning away in your hands. I'm not kidding, it really hurts, like a lot sometimes. This one time I was mowing down Commies... or Mutants.. well, one or the other I'm sure, and the gun was changing colors from black to red to yellow! I wasn't really paying attention to the gun, having all those... well, whatever, to shoot, but WOW I had some serious burns all over my hands! The blisters were horrible!

I almost had to stop shooting, it hurt so bad!
