This mission has been designated as both serious and dangerous, so the team will get some special gear from both PLC and R&D. Upon entering PLC, each troubleshooter will get:
- A Rifle: of their level and 3 barrels to arm it with.
- Special Reflec: of their level with level 3 slugthrower protection.
- Beamlights: to attach to their shoulders. These cannot be turned off except by breaking the wire that connects them to the battery pack in the armor.

- Closed Circuit Compacks: So they can communicate with each other. These are voice activated and consist of a earpiece that is shoved into one ear (making it hard to hear anything out of) and a microphone that hangs down the cheek.
- The Team Leader will get 5 additional barrels to be handed out as needed.
- The Recording Officer will get a closed Compak 3, with audio, video, and lowlight capabilites. This consists of a special headset and recording pack that goes on the belt.
- The equipment guy will get a large toolkit which includes a surprising array of tools for electronic, machine and bot maintenance. Regardless of his abilities or knowledge of such tools.
- The Happiness Officer will get a standard set of medication and happiness pills, plus some special "grief" pills for use when dealing with dead clones. These are essentially Bouncy Bubbly Beverage in a pill form.
- Hygene Officer will get some special spray to use on dead clones to prevent decay prior to investigation by a special investigative unit. He'll get a LOT of spray.
