Depending on the secret societies the team belongs to, you'll need to add more missions (especially to kill each other) but these are built into the module:
Anti-Mutant:
Anti-Mutant is always looking for mutants, having a known one on the troubleshooter team is good, it provides tension and conflict. Another good anti-mutant mission is to have a registered or suspected mutant working at the debriefing, PLC or in R&D. Killing one of these without getting gunned down as a traitor is always a chore for the player. The main missions are:
- The team commander from the first mission is a known mutant that we've been looking for, kill him.
- There is a mutant on your team: (team member name here or FIND HIM/HER), determine what his mutant power is, then kill him.
The Assemblers are VERY upset about the sector going down, and want to take drastic steps to bring it back up.
- The original team was full of traitors, kill any survivors.
- Team Mate (whoever) is a member of (any non-Assembler society), report him or kill him.
- Make SURE ICK comes online.
- There is a bot in ICK that went with the original team, it posesses direct links to the computer and is therefore holy and MUST be recovered.
The Commies had a moderate ranking member in the first team who was supposed to make contact with another commie in ICK. Neither has reported back and are presumed dead. The communists want:
- A report on what happened to the commie on the Troubleshooter team.
- A report on what happened to the commie who worked in ICK.
- The commie on the troubleshooter team has a Communist Handbook on him, make sure it's not found and connected to him.
- Kill any known members of Free Enterprise.
- Try and convert another member of your team to Communism.
The Phreaks aren't especially interested in this mission, but there is rumored to be a new class 12 terminal in one of the control rooms that they want. It contains a special microchip that can be used to improve data download while hacking. The missions are:
- Find that terminal (described thouroughly) and remove the chip.
- Upload this command sequence into any terminal in the sector. Since the power's down to the grid (the terminal should be working on backup power or battery), it won't get sent, but it will be sent as soon as power comes on, and it will go through before the security programs have a chance to upload.
- Kill any Assemblers of God, so they can't stop the chip steal or upload.
When they find out about the Bio Battle Bot, Corp will start drooling furiously. The team member will be told:
- Get the Bio Battle Bot AT ANY COST and make it look like it got destroyed. Hide it somewhere if necessary so we can get it later.
- There's probably a lot of damage down in ICK, steal any chipware, boards, or such that you can so we can impliment it in our bot designs.
- There is a bot down in ICK that is a tool of the Computer, make sure it stays online.
Death Leopard sees this as a perfect opportunity to do serious damage and make some great noise:
- Keep ICK down.
- If possible, permanently.
- Make sure the name "DEATH LEOPARD" is painted in large letters somewhere.
- Take out the control center, since it's the most important area.
- Take out the vats if you can.
The Bio Battle bot and the bot that is down in ICK have got FD up in knots, and they don't like it.
- Destroy the Bio Battle Bot
- Destroy the Bot down in ICK
- Destroy the control center for the Vats.
Free Enterprise is likely to try and turn a profit here, and is going to use any members to do it.
- It's going to be dark, take flashlights to sell.
- It's rumored to be dangerous, take barrels to sell.
- There was a commie on the first team, if he's alive, kill him, if not, make sure he get's framed for the team's failure.
- We have lots of extra (insert ridiculous item here), sell them to your team.
Who knows what the Illuminati think...
- Draw a symbol on each door you go through: A square on the first, a star on the second, then circle, diamond, triangle, x, concentric circles (bullseye), and then a dot on every other door.
- Don't go into Vat room "A".
- Tell any survivors of the first team "Take the job".
- Take a gas mask with you, wear it as often as possible, but not ALL the time.
The Mystics have lost a member from the first team, the Team Leader. They are very worried, since they sent almost 10 gallons of chemicals with him.
- Find him
- If he hasn't poured the drugs into a food vat, you do it.
- Test this new "contact" drug (transferred by touch) on anyone you want to.
The politiclones have been feeling a pinch in the "ratings" lately. You've got to up the "fuzzy feeling" in the "electorate" ASAP:
- Pass these buttons out to all the members on your team. (The Computer is Your Friend! BGVTC!!). The BGVTC is a support message to the electorate, tell your team that it means "Be Good (Very) To Computer!".
- Shake EVERYONE's hand.
- Kiss any new clones on the cheek.
- Keep everyone friendly, wars aren't popular right now.
There's a ton of high-tech equipment down in ICK, which is no longer under the watchful cameras of the big C:
- Collect any electronic equipment you can get your hands on.
- Get any of the R&D equipment (ESPECIALLY THE BOT) and bring it back.
- Grab the bot that's down in R&D, working or not.
The psions are interested in romours of a new creature in Vat A. They aren't sure what it is, but they want you to try and "make contact" with it:
- Find the creature.
- Make contact.
- See if there are any othere mutants in the party, and see if they'll join.
- If there's an anti-mutant, kill him.
The computer has been weakened, make sure it stays that way!
- Keep ICK down at all costs.
- Destroy the control room.
- Destroy the power system.
- There's a bot down there that is connected to the Computer, smash it.
- Anyone tries to stop you, kill them.
The romantics aren't especially interested in this mission, but they know that one of the items R&D is likely to give out is a blade gun.
- Get the blade gun, bring it back. It's based on a pre-oops artifact and we want to study it.
- One of the guards in ICK was a low-level member who had found a pre-oops artifact, find it and bring it back.
The Seal Club has learned that Vat A contains a creature. They want it captured and studied. It's possible that the creature might be somewhat dangerous, but they'll equip the member with some darts to drug it.
- Find the creature.
- Study it in it's natural habitat (the Vat)
- Study it's feeding and territorial nature.
- Drug it and capture it.
- Bring it back.
New Life! Thats right in the main title!! Go out and seek it out, discover, but don't interfere with it's social growth, that would violate the prime directive.
- Study the creature.
- See if it's intelligent
- Try and establish contact with it.
- See if it wants to join the Federation.
- Get it to take you to it's leader.
