This briefing will be held in a small room, with a large viewscreen taking up an entire wall. There is not really enough room for all the troubleshooters here, but they'd better cram in. Once all of the troubleshooters enter, the escort will leave, and the screen will power up. On the screen it's Buh-B-YEE again, looking none too happy. During his speech, some troubleshooters may notice a indigo laser barrel pointed at his head from just barely off camera. It will sneak on and off camera for a brief moment. In any case, he'll give his speech, ask no questions, give no further information, and any attempts will quickly be met with a blank stare, shifting eyes, and a small whine, then "Above your clearance, troubleshooter". His speech will be wooden and rehearsed.
Next, the team will be taken to another room, where they will meet the Computer's special envoy on this mission, Darth-V-ADR. Darth-V-ADR is a registered mutant with telepathy and mental blast. He wears a long purple robe (with yellow stripes), and a vulture helmet which makes him look quite formidable. Darth-V-ADR will stride confidently into the room, survey the team, and begin his speech.

The Computer has detected a threat to a sector of Alpha Complex, and has ordered that your team be assigned the glorious opportunity to bring those responsible to their deaths. The threat in question is the DTH sector, where traitors stole a databot which contained blueprints of the sector. You must determine what the traitors have done with those plans and where the data-bot is.
Specific tasks are as follows:
- Determine which rebel groups are involved.
- Determine whether or not the CMTs have extracted the plans for DTH sector from the databot.
- Determine who the CMT leaders are.
- Recover the databot.
- Report all this back.

Your team will assemble in the TAT sector, where you will locate a spy who is working with the rebel group. We expect them to hire this spy to take them to their headquarters. They should have the databot with them. You are to force them to flee, and thus give away the location of the rest of their group. Follow them. Once they've reached their goal, you are to make contact with the spy who will report what he's managed to get from the CMTs. He has been ordered to get the name of their new society and the names of its leaders, plus what information they've recovered from the bot. Finally, capture the databot and return it.
- Go to PLC and R&D to gear up.
- Go to TAT and locate the Trans-Craft hangar, where you will find the ship the rebels will be using and one we've set up for you.
- Go to the bar where the Rebels are meeting our spy.
- Monitor them for a short while.
- Attempt to recover the databot when they leave the bar.
- Chase all of them back to the Hangar.
- Stage a battle.
- Allow the rebels to escape.
- Get into your craft and follow them.
- Report back as you follow them using the comm system on the trans-craft.
- Unless otherwise ordered, make contact with the spy when the traitors reach their destination.
- Return for debriefing and further mission instructions.
