b3 blaster In an effort to improve morale among troubleshooters, R&D has developed the B3 dispensory unit. The Bouncy bubbly beverage Liquid All-purpose Special Tanked Superior Output Kinetic Extended Reach (BLASTSOKER) unit (seen at left) includes a compression unit (the large tank) which compresses around 10 gallons (or 20 liters) of Bouncy Bubbly Beverage into a container that looks to hold about 2 gallons of liquid. The liquid is then forced through a tube into a hand-held dispenser that somewhat resembles a blaster. The canister can be strapped to a troubleshooters back. It isn't very large, around 2 feet (2/3 meter) high by .5 foot (20 cm) in diameter, but it is very heavy when full.

Part 1: Open Wide!
Once distributed, the troubleshooter will have to load the cannister provided (which weighs about 30 pounds) into the holder and then strap both of these to his back. Dropping the cannister (in or out of the holder) is BAD (see below). The hose is then plugged into the holder, and he's ready to go! On a full tank (there is no gague for this) the blaster fires a steady stream of BBB about 10 yards/meters. There's a bit of kick here, ignore if the troubleshooters has any slugthrower or related skills and a strenght of 4 or better, otherwise, a dex check is needed. Anyone too close to the business end of the blaster at full power will get soaked, and probably get knocked back by the blow. The BBB dispensed is pure stuff, straight from the factory, and it's ready to get those troubleshooters HAPPY!

Part 2: The blaster or what's this button do??
There's only two switches on the whole system. One, obviously, is the trigger. The other's on the stock of the blaster. It has two (unlabeled) settings. The top (factory preset) is for "normal" operation. Pull the trigger = Shoot BBB. Let go = Stop shooting. The bottom (special) is for "advanced" operation. Pull the trigger = Shoot BBB. Let go = Shoot BBB. This is the "hose down riot and general expulsion of BBB" setting that will empty the canister. Only the vacuum created when the canister is completely empty will reset the trigger mechanism, and cause the blaster to stop. Pinching the tube doesn't help, since it's wiremesh under the rubber tubing. This is a nice safety feature that prevents it from being crushed or damaged in the field.

Part 3: Dropping the Canister is BAD
The canister, being a storage container for a large amount of compressed liquid, should not be damaged in any way. Do not fold, spindle or mutilate. Dropping is also bad. Shooting it is right out. Any minute amount of damage to the poorly designed and shoddily constructed tin-foil like material that's holding this massive amount of liquid in this tiny space will result in, you guessed it, bad things. What bad things? Well that depends. If the canister is full, it will explode. No fire or such, but there will be shards of sharp metal travelling outward from the canister at very high rates of speed. Treat as slashing damage, how much depends on how close they are, just how full the canister was, and if they have any cover. A midway full canister will result in a torpedo. The liquid will shoot out of the canister with enough force to make it take off, flying willy-nilly around the room and smashing into things. Hopefully the troubleshooter didn't have it strapped to his back when it did this, because there'll probably be more than enough force to take him with it. If the canister is less than 1/4 full, the canister will simply cover everyone nearby in BBB. They will soon be under the lovely influence, since they'll be breathing the vapors, covered with it, and will have most likely gotten some of it into their mouth.
