The batteries needed a way to be disconnected from the electrical system. Installing this water-proof fuse was just the ticket.

I installed this fuse holder on the trailer's frame just to the side of the battery box. When traveling or after a road trip I can be a little slow to remove the batteries for charging. By having this little unit easily accessible on the frame I can quickly disconnect or reconnect the batteries.

I've herd that Camping World sells a device called a "safety switch", it uses a hinged breaker-bar that rotates to engages a separate receptacle. That might be a good option  as well. (maybe I'll convert)

Here is a view of the fuse holder with the 20 amp fuse visible.

I carry extra fuses at all times, not only for just this device.

This simple addition only put me back ~$4.-
