Introduction
The poetry is listed
here in mostly chronological order.
I will sometimes make commentary next to the title if I think
it requires it. You might note
that earlier in the timeline (some years past) I had been more
productive. Lately I’ve
just written some pieces, but rarely do I get inspired like I used
to. I attribute this to having
not read poetry in a while, although slowly my poetry collection is
becoming more diverse and I find that I am reading more of it. I used to read a lot of Charles
Bukowski and so you might, in the early
poems, sense a bit of his style in mine. But then that is strictly
subjective. If only I could
write poetry (or short stories, for that matter) as well as he,
I’d be a happy man.

Email Poetica
|
A medley of
poetry created by cutting words from email messages sent by a
friend and then pasted in a document in seemingly random
order thus creating an electronic form of cut-and-paste
poetry. My friend and
I called it email poetica.

One at All on Sunday

Sometimes my mind
gets into a fog (hell, most of the time) and I cannot do or
think of much of anything and so I tend to get into a free
style sort of rambling and hence the nature of the body of
this particular poem.
