Carne Asada Marinade

 

 

 

   This is a very simple but very flavorful marinade for beef. This is intended for four large steaks, but we also cut the amounts by half and use it for thinner cuts of beef to be used for burritos, fajitas, tacos...

   It works for poultry also, but don’t marinate for more than one hour, as the lime juice will “cook” the meat.

limes, juiced

garlic cloves, minced

jalapenos en escabeche (pickled), minced

pickled jalapeno juice

kosher salt

olive oil

 

 

 

   Combine all the ingredients in a non-reactive bowl and marinate the meat for an hour or three.
