Sauteed Dill Pork Chops

This, the quicker version, is more suited to the hectic lifestyle we seem to find so necessary, yet curse at every possible chance.

Being a one pan, stove-top meal that is done in 20 min, its allure is basic, yet it tastes as if you worked on it for a while.

4 pork chops (blade or loin)

salt and pepper

2 T oil

1 sm. onion, sliced

2 dill pickles, halved and sliced length wise

2 T pickle juice

Salt and pepper chops. Heat oil in pan on med.-high, when hot add the onions. As they start to brown, add chops, and when the chops need flipping add the pickles.

Just before declaring them done, throw in the pickle juice, check for doneness, and make sure and scrape up the bits from the pan bottom.

Chops should take 6-9 min. maximum time.
