3:52 PM   A paper for which I am a co-author, 'The Apolipoprotein E e4 Allele and Incident Alzheimer's Disease in Person's with Mild Cognitive Impairment', has been accepted to the journal Neurocase.

3:59 PM   My college picks finally got on track, going 7-2 this weekend. I missed an NFL pick for the first time in 3 weeks.

10:48 AM   Maybe I should make all of my football picks while on vacation. My college picks went 4-1 this weekend and I had another 2-0 week for the NFL.
Record to date: NFL 11-4, NCAA 17-16.

I believe the BCS rankings come out today. So I am going to start the second half results with next week's games.

1:12 PM   I am going to be very slow in upating things next week. I will be on vacaton so I do not know how much time I will have. The goal will be to just have things up to date by the weekend.

This is not the reason for my vacation but this weekend I will be getting my advanced open water scuba diver certification. I am going to do a deep water dive, under water navigation dive, wreck exploration dive, and an underwater photography dive, plus a buoyancy skills dive.

1:09 PM   I have some hope for the college picks this week since they are mostly on home underdogs.

10:20 AM   Last week I said that my numbers looked a little funny and wasn't expecting a good week. It turned out I did have a good week, #2 in the weekly standings. So it wasn't me that was a little off, everyone else was a little off. But I have to say the same thing this week. My predections are opposite the line for a lot of games. That is not a good sign, but it went in my favor last week.

Still not having a lot of luck with picks this season.

NCAA: Last week 3-4, Season 11-13

3:43 PM   If you were to throw out opening weekend my PerformanZ Ratings for NCAA would be the number one system. Three games ahead of the next closest competitor. But including the opening weekend I am three games behind the leader and there are 12 systems within three games of the lead.

But my numbers look a little funny this week so I am not anticipating a good week.

10:08 AM   There are more picks this week that in the past week. But beware, 6 of the 7 college picks are for road underdogs.
