  • Affiliated with Toastmasters International, the world's leading nonprofit educational organization devoted to the improvement of individual communication and leadership skills.
  • One of more than 9,200 Toastmasters clubs in 70 countries and more than 70 clubs in the state of Connecticut.
  • The club was chartered in April of 1996 as an open community club serving West Hartford, Connecticut and surrounding towns.
  • The club meets the first and third Tuesday of each month in Multipurpose Room of Hebrew Health Care, 1 Abrahms Blvd, West Hartford CT.
  • Members and guests gather for conversation at 5:30pm.
    Business meeting and educational program starts at 5:45 PM prompt.
    Meeting adjourns at 7:15 PM.
  • Membership dues are $59 for the first six months and $39 for each successive six-month period.

  • Learn proper parliamentary procedure (Robert's Rules of Order).
  • Preside as a meeting chairperson.
  • Gain valuable leadership and management experience.
  • Gain personal confidence that will help when speaking to one person or one thousand.
  • Enter Toastmasters International's Annual Speech Contest, "The World Championship of Public Speaking."
