The West Hartford Toastmasters Club finished the 2001-2002 Distinguished Club Plan Year as a President's Distinguished Toastmasters Club; completing 9 out of 10 goals ( four CTMs, one ATMs, two CLs, 11 new members, club officer training, per capita payments & club officer list submitted on time.) as set forth by Toastmasters International. In the upcoming Fall District 53 Conference the Club will be presented with a blue ribbon for the club banner; recognizing West Hartford Toastmasters as a President's Distinguished Club.

The CTM recognizes the completion of 10 speech projects in the Basic Communications and Leadership manual. In addition, Michelle and Ivan received their Competent Leader Award.

We are Number One! The West Hartford Toastmasters Club finished the 1998 - 99 Distinguished Club Plan Year 1st place within the "Top 20" District 53 ranking; finishing strong with 18,160+ points. There are more than 100 clubs in District 53 representing all of Connecticut, Western MA and Eastern NY states. West Hartford TM started the year with exactly 20 members, and ended the year with 33 members. World-wide, the West Hartford TM Club ranks 53 out of 3630 Clubs in the 20-29 membership category. It has truly been an outstanding year for the Toastmaster members of Club #3523.

In the upcoming Fall District 53 Conference the Club will be presented with a red ribbon for the club banner; recognizing West Hartford Toastmasters as a Select Distinguished Club. In addition, the Club will be presented the Gopinathan Award of Excellance Trophy for being the top club in District 53.

The West Hartford Toastmasters Club finished the 1997 - 98 Distinguished Club Plan Year with a "Top 20" District 53 ranking; finishing with 10,980 points - a 14th place out of 105 Clubs in the District. In the upcoming Fall District 53 Conference the Club will be presented with a red ribbon for the club banner; recognizing West Hartford Toastmasters as a Select Distinguished Club.
