Formerly called Project CHaD, Project Share A Smile was created and is run by a single college freshman who has already donated 400 tote bags filled with puzzle books, art supplies, reading books, small toys, and stuffed animals to the children at 8 New England hospitals. The purpose of this project is to brighten the days of children staying at the hospital. My intention is to keep what I have started going, in order to reach out to many other children in many other hospitals. This service initiative began in September 2009 and is still going strong!
**Since Share A Smile is now a federally-recognized nonprofit, my project's federal Tax ID number is available for monetary donations upon request. Please send me an email requesting this info through the above "Contact" tab at the top of this site. Thank you!
May 12, 2012: Project Share A Smile was recognized at a New Hampshire Fisher Cats baseball game as part of the Bellwether Community Champions award program. I was extremely excited about this amazing opportunity--I am hoping it will help spread knowledge of Share A Smile all around the state. Pictures have been added to the gallery, but more are on their way. Also, be sure to check out the blog for more info on this great event!

I received this nice thank you note after my last delivery to the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.
