Hostess Guidelines

Hostess Guidelines for a Successful In-Home Painting Class

  1. Set a date with your professional instructor (Mike or Kathy).
You should set aside at least 4 hours. Your guests will be there approximate 3 hours for the professional painting class. The instructor will need at least 45 minutes to set up and get ready for the class.
  2. Begin inviting your friends and acquaintances.
    1. Be sure to tell them that this is a professional painting class, not a typical In Home Party. For the $24.99 + tax, each participant will receive instruction in the One-Stroke painting technique and the instructor will provide all brushes, paints, teaching guides, practice paper, the painting surface which each participant may take home, along with their beautifully painted and completed project.
    2. YOU have chosen a wonderful project to learn so tell everyone about the new project so they can enjoy the fun too.
    3. Let your friends know that the Hostess will need to collect the class kit fee at least 14 days before the class to make sure they arrive in time.
    4. Tell your friends that the class requires a minimum of six participants and ask if they anyone else who may want to take the class.
    5. Let us know if you need additional tables and or/chairs, we have extras that we can bring with us.
    6. Remember if you have 10 guests or more you will receive an additional gift from us.
  3. Call each attendee several days before the class to remind them of the time to come so the class can start promptly.
  4. Call or email Mike or Kathy with any questions.
