PLATTERS & BOWLS

Below is a collection of some of the platters and bowls Tom has made. Unfortunately, we don't have pictures of every bowl, so you'll have to use your imagination, to figure out what's possible. People often ask if you can put food in these bowls. The answer is yes, if you don't mind ruining the finish! The finish on these bowls are food safe, but are not intended to withstand harsh soaps, or being submersed in water. So the best bet is to put dry items in these bowls (such as candy, nuts, fruit, etc.), rather than wet items, like soup or salads. However, if you don't mind the interior of the bowl taking on a stained, dull look, then by all means, feel free to use it for these items as well. After use, wipe clean with a damp cloth, and dry immediately. Never, never, never submerse in soapy water, or put them in a dishwasher!

The status of each bowl is listed (ie, whether it's available or not). If you see a bowl you like, but it isn't available any longer, don't fear! Most bowls can be custom ordered. However, be forewarned, it's rarely possible to duplicate something exactly. But Tom will do his best to replicate the bowl you see in the picture, as closely as possible.
