Miniatures

Below is a collection of some of the miniatures Tom has made. Miniatures, in general, are tiny versions of items we see in our daily lives. But it goes far beyond that. It turns out there are people out there who collect miniatures, for various reasons. Highest on the list is dollhouse furniture. Other reasons would include model train layouts, that are at specific scales. Or even just because people find tiny things cute. The cool part is, people are willing to actually PAY for these tiny items! So here are some of Tom's miniatures. Whenever possible, the scale is given for the items shown below. Some of them are just small - no particular scale intended. In these cases, the amount of detail precludes making them as small as they need to be for the really small scales. In cases where a specific scale was used in the design of the piece, the scale is provided. If you see something you like, but it isn't available any longer, don't fear! Most items can be custom ordered. However, be forewarned, it's rarely possible to duplicate something exactly. But Tom will do his best to replicate what you see in the picture, as closely as possible.
