Union, Mgmt. Meet about ‘Dream Bids’

The mail handlers union met with management on Monday, Aug. 31, to discuss management’s proposal to hold a “dream bid.” Management said it needs to create 26 new positions and wants to hold an expedited bidding process (the so-called dream bid) to fill the new positions.

Nothing has been decided, yet. The union and management agreed to meet again on Friday, Sept. 4.
