10 PTF's Converted to Full-Time Regulars

Thanks to a grievance won by the mail-handlers union on May 8, the 10 remaining PTF's at the SJ P&DC have been converted to full-time regulars, effective May 23, 2009. They are:

  2. Michele Payton
  3. Jill Eden
  4. Tony Branco
  5. Kevin Seard
  6. Tony Pitzorella
  7. Grace Colon
  8. Joe Phillips
  9. Ken Kimble
  10. Andrew Joannou

The union brought the grievance against management because management failed to convert the PTF's in 2008 and, instead, reverted the jobs that should have been awarded to them, according to Article 12.3.B11 of the National Agreement.
