Do You Need a Union Steward?

If you want to speak with a union steward, let your supervisor know. The supervisor will schedule a time when you and a steward can be released from the workroom floor.

Of course you’re still free to call the union office, but by making arrangements through your supervisor, management knows that you need time and a steward needs time to meet with you. Otherwise, management may not release a steward to address your problem.
