Give Your Kid a Stamp

We're all faced with the fact that the Postal Service is losing money because people just aren't mailing things the way they used to. But there are some things you can do to help.

For example, when was the last time your child asked you for a stamp? Never? Well, maybe your e-mail wielding offspring doesn't appreciate how nice it can be to receive a card that you can hold instead of one that's just pixels in cyberspace.

And while you're changing your child's mindset, why not change your own? Does someone you know have a birthday coming up? Consider giving that person a magazine subscription. He or she will think of you every time a new issue arrives in the mail. And, at the same time, you'll be adding to the Postal Service's revenue stream.
