Resides in Ft. Collins, Colorado
TONY HOCHSTETLER is a sculptor of animals, more particularly a sculptor of reptile, amphibians, insects, birds, and marine life. He has won many awards, including various awards from the Society of Animal Artists; the Award of Excellence (won twice), and the Whittington Memorial Award. Other awards include the Beddi-Makky Foundry award presented by the National Sculpture Society.
Most recently his work has been exhibited with the Gilcrease Museum as a featured Rendezvous Artist, National Museum of Wildlife Art, National Academy of Design, National Sculpture Society's “Masterworks of American Sculpture: Selections from Members of the National Sculpture Society 1875-1999”, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, and various other shows.
Mr. Hochstetler's work is featured in the collections of the Gilcrease Museum, Denver Zoological Gardens, Wichita Art Museum, Benson Park Sculpture Gardens, H.Y. Jung Museum of Bronze Sculpture, and the Bass Pro Museum.
Tony is a member of both the National Sculpture Society and Society of Animal Artists.
