The "Antique Carousel" at the Centreville Amusement Park.
Centre Island, Toronto, Canada.

The "Antique Carousel" at Centreville on Centre Island, Ontario is a 1908 Dentzel, restored and looking very spiffy. I visited this carousel in 2004. This is a FAST carousel. All the outside row animals are standers, and it's a good thing as it would be quite easy to fall off these speeding mounts. This carousel has FOUR RABBITS!!! Granted they are all identical except for their paint jobs, but I still had to ride them all.

The carousel pavillion: an odd structure with no discernable front.

Giraffe. Duh :-)

It didn't take me too long to find one of the rabbits

Two of the rabbits

A nice deer. Maybe I'll get a deer for myself.

One of the ostriches--the highest-sitting animals on the carousel.

People enjoying the carousel

The other two rabbits (the brown one and the white one are my favorites)

A better shot of the white rabbit

Lion

Another angle on the deer

The other two ostriches

And the tiger. Now I know why these things (tigers) are the most expensive animals--this thing is huge! Those paws are massive.
