I am a rock hound (fox, actually) and enjoy wandering around seeking out
specimins. Over the many years I have collected many boxes of rocks from
various northwestern and central states. This page, however, has nothing to
do with that.This page is about my mineral collection (aka. pretty rocks), also acquired over many years, and came about because of my desire to have a collection of good specimins of minerals to learn from, examine, compare and contrast, and help to identify minerals in the rough. These mineral specimines were collected over many years of going to every rock show in the local area and hovering over table upon table of fine mineral specimins, chatting with other rock and mineral gurus, and running to ATM machines. Some rock collectors may think this isn't really collecting... Sure it is! I just let someone else do the hard work :-)
