| Torquay Potteries The Torquay potteries were located on the south east coast of Devon in England in and around the town of Torquay. They were most known for their production of first terra cotta ware and then mottoware. Mottoware was pottery produced with mottos and often with place names. Mottoware was generally sold to tourists as souvenirs. |
