Tournament And Outing Policy

  1. All play starts on the first tee with allowance given to players coming through on the tenth tee.
  2. USGA Rules as amended by Local Rules will be followed.
  3. All tournaments and outings will be subject to green fee rates in effect at the time of play. All amounts for fees, merchandise, food, beverages, and rentals are to be collected in advance by tournament organizers.
  4. All prizes and meals are to be purchased from Touisset Country Club. It is a violation of Massachusetts law to bring any food or beverage for personal consumption or distribution to others onto these premises or any merchandise for sale or distribution to others. Any such items will be confiscated and/or persons involved will be removed from the premises.
  5. A closed first tee is available for groups of 32 or more players at certain times as arranged by the proshop. A closed course is available only for groups of 72 or more players. Shotgun starts are not available. The prearranged number of players will be assesed a charge for any closed tee or course, whether they play or not.
  6. There are no rain checks available for any closed tee or closed course tournament or outing. Tournament organizers are responsible to call off the tournament due to bad weather and to schedule any make up date.
  7. All tournaments and outings require non-refundable advance payment in order to reserve the first tee, food, rentals, beverages, and merchandise. A deposit will be determined at the time the reservation is made. The balance in full is due 20 days in advance of the scheduled date.
  8. These policies may only be modified by agreement with the pro shop and clubhouse, jointly.
