Polyhedrons that are Compounds of Regular Solids
It is not uncommon that a polyhedron can be classified in more than one way,
and these are excellent examples of that fact. You are invited to consider
the polyhedra on this page as being compounds of several regular solids.
However, they can each be derived as a stellation of some convex polyhedron
as well! For example, the compound of two Tetrahedrons is a stellation
of the Octahedron.
