1. Start of project
existing shower tile had cracking/moldy grout
moldly area forming on wall near tub

2. Cement Board:
ripped down all old tile and cement board
hanging new "Durock" cement board
|
3. Floor:
floor was stained from water damage
removed toilet during project
ripped up flooring down to sub floor
|
4. Backerboard:
installed new "Hardy Backerboard" to set floor tiles
|
5. Tiling Floor:
floor tiles are cemented with Versabond thinset
|
6. Tiling Walls:
wall tiles are cemented with Flexbond thinset
|
7. Grouting Floor:
grout completed on floor
we can use our toilet again!

7. Tiling Shower:
continued to install tile in shower over a few weekends
installing two shelves for shampoo, etc.

9. Project is completed
we can shower upstairs again!!!
