Adobe ColdFusion???

Today I found out that Adobe is buying Macromedia. Now there is huge buzz in the CF community about the future of CF and other MM products. It's way too early to say, but if history is any indicator, I'm not too worried. Back when Allaire merged with Macromedia, everyone in the CF community was freaked out, wondering if MM would kill CF. Instead, CF has gone thru 2 iterations, and is strong as ever. Also, Adobe does not have a competing server product, so if anything they may pump in more resources, raising the bar to go head-to-head with Microsoft's .NET and PHP open source. All in all, I'm optimistic about this acquisition. My only concern is that all the great MM employees get to stick around in the combined company, yet this is where my optimism ends, as I'm sure many will leave or be let go.
