Golfed at Elm Creek

I played with Matt K. at Elm Creek in Plymouth on Saturday. I don't think I have ever played there and I did ok. Usually my first time at a new course is a disaster. The course was tougher to walk than we anticipated, and it was a hot day, so it was quite a workout. Next time we definately need a power cart. Some of the holes are tight when driving, and slope such that your ball rolls to the side. That leaves you with a blind, uphill shot going at the green. I made one birdie and had a few pars and finished with an 89. It could have been a few less had I not rushed a couple short 2' putts. Overall, not one of my favorite courses, but I'd play it again as the cost was decent and we'd use a cart next time.
