Alexandria Vino

Bonnie and I just returned from a nice little getaway for our 5 year anniversary. While in Alexandria, we visited the Carlos Creek Winery. It's almost like being in Napa Valley, they make great wines. Now a new winery just opened, it's called Santiago's Winery. The woman who served us taste tests said her and about 10 others pooled their money and decided to make a go of opening their own winery. The wine there was also very good, and we bought a bottle to help them get their business started. If you are in the Alexandria area, I recommend visiting both wineries, it's a great time enjoying some locally produced wine.
