Mice in our house - yuck!

We have found 3 dead mice in our house since August, and two of those have been within the last week. There must be more, because we are finding droppings under the sink. When they die, the scent they produce is disgusting, and we know right away there is a dead one we gotta find quickly. It's time to declare war on these little devils. Tonight I'm heading to Home Depot to get traps and we'll root them out one by one. If you have any good strategies to get rid of mice, please let us know. Wish us luck!

Swag pics on Flickr

I've created a group photo area on Flickr. This is for anyone to upload cool swag items you've received from Macromedia or the former Allaire. Let's see all that interesting stuff everyone has accumulated out there. flickr.com/groups/mmswag/

MAX is going well

Saw a great keynote today on tons of new stuff coming down the pike from MM. The new Flex Builder is going to rock, and get anyone who wants to use Flex to jump in, with a much better price point. Learning some new CF7 skills that I hope to use back at work soon, once we get thru the upgrade process. Weather is kinda poor, but who cares, most of the time we are inside the convention center learning and meeting new people. I'm looking forward to presenting what I take from the conference at the next CFUG, so make sure you attend if you couldn't make it to MAX this year. All for now...

Alexandria Vino

Bonnie and I just returned from a nice little getaway for our 5 year anniversary. While in Alexandria, we visited the Carlos Creek Winery. It's almost like being in Napa Valley, they make great wines. Now a new winery just opened, it's called Santiago's Winery. The woman who served us taste tests said her and about 10 others pooled their money and decided to make a go of opening their own winery. The wine there was also very good, and we bought a bottle to help them get their business started. If you are in the Alexandria area, I recommend visiting both wineries, it's a great time enjoying some locally produced wine.
