2006

Here we are in 2006, and the first big news is what everyone could see coming, Vikes coach Mike Tice got the axe. Actually, he wasn't truly fired, he just didn't a new extension to his contract. Owner Ziggy Wilf says he's going to take the team "in a new direction".

I haven't blogged much in quite a while, but really nothing too interesting to blab about. I took a nice 11 day vacation and got a bunch of stuff done around the house that had been on my to do list for a long time. We had a nice Christmas, traveling to Graceville and Blue Earth and spent Christmas Day here at home. Ben seemed to enjoy ripping paper on gifts and taking all the bows. He also loved pulling ornaments off the tree, they all looked too pretty to leave alone.

I'm looking forward to the new year, as Ben really starts learning to talk and all the rest. And hopefully Ziggy will hire a good coach that will once and for all take the Vikings to the Super Bowl soon.
