Radio Free Minnesota coming back
My favorite radio talk show host Jason Lewis is offically coming back to the local airwaves after his 3 year stint in Charlotte NC. His show starts Aug 7 on 100.3 KTLK. I included the story below from the 7/17 Star Trib...
On another local radio note, I just read that the Twins are moving to AM1500 next season after a lifetime of broadcasts on WCCO. Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes are takin' place.
Conservative radio talker Jason Lewis will make his reentry into Twin Cities airwaves Aug. 7, when he debuts on KTLK (100.3 FM). Lewis will take over the 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday time slot currently occupied by Brian Lambert and Sarah Janacek.
Lewis left his top-rated KSTP (1500 AM) talk show in 2003 for a station in Charlotte, N.C. He already has moved back to the Twin Cities, but said Monday that he'll be going "back and forth" to his old station for the next few weeks, broadcasting either in Charlotte, or from Clear Channel's office in St. Louis Park.
He described his coming KTLK show as "nothing fancy, just the same old 'Radio Free Minnesota.' "
No word on what will happen to the liberal Lambert and conservative Janacek, whose stormy on-air exchanges have created some intriguing radio moments.
