What was that song I heard?

We've all heard a song on the radio, only to be frustrated that we don't know the artist name or song title. Not anymore, just visit YES.com, and you'll be able to find that info quick and easy. And if you like the song and want to download or buy it, just follow a link to iTunes, Amazon.com, or Thumbplay.

For example, last night I was driving home with some friends and we wondered who sang, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" that we heard rockin' out on 104.1 JACK.

I checked out yes.com today, and found the song is by the band "Jet". Here are 3 of the songs we heard on our drive home. This website is great!

Billy Joel Big Shot 10:35 PM
Jet Are You Gonna Be My Girl 10:39 PM
Edie Brickell & New Bohemians What I Am 10:43 PM

Road confusion 35-E and 35-W

People from out of town and out of state tend to get confused when driving on 35-E or 35-W. When you live in the Twin Cities metro area, these roads are so commonplace, we tend not to think about the fact that they run north-south. However, visitors often think these roads will take them west if driving on 35-W or east if driving on 35-E. Well, if there is any consolation to this road confusion, Dallas, TX also named their split in I-35 the same way. Look at this link to Google maps where the split begins in Denton, TX.

Johnny Clueless rocked the Dugout Bar

Last night I had a great time reliving some memories of seeing Johnny Clueless back at SCSU. I was only able to shoot 3 pictures before my camera batteries died. Hopefully I can make it out to another show soon and get some better ones. JC still rocks after all these years!

Knock-knock, who's there?

Ben learned how to tell his first knock-knock joke. It's pretty funny. Don't "cry" if you laugh too hard.
