MN Tax cut coalition gaining ground

I just received an email from 100.3 KTLK today, thanking me for joining Jason Lewis' Tax Cut Coalition. Looks like they are gaining ground, with over 11,000 people now signed up, and growing daily.

There is also a big tax rally planned at the steps of the State Capitol, scheduled for Apr 14 at Noon. I hope to go, and show my support for an end to the out of control government spending in Minnesota.

Yahoo Mail and Messenger updates coming

Yahoo has been hard at work giving beta email and messenger users a blended user interface. Check out this short screencast tutorial that shows off some of the new features coming soon to the millions of Yahoo users. This blog entry also explains it in more detail. Looks pretty cool!

Netflix Watch Now

Checking my movie queue today, and find my new Watch Now service tab has been activated. The speed test shows only Basic 500 Kbps, even though I'm on Comcast broadband. Oh well, at least they've turned on my free 15 hours per month.

My new calendar arrived

Yesterday I received my new Leap Year 2007 "Golf Cources" calendar. This was sent to replace my defective calendar that was missing both Feb and Mar pages. I was happy to see the Leap Year company sending a new one promptly, just in time for February 1st today!
