Imagine a future where computers select your ideal mate.
All of your preferences, characteristics, and desires are logically factored together, leading toward the one man you are destined to love.
But what if the computer gets it wrong?
In One Perfect Mate, a botanist badly hurt by love travels to a newly colonized world to meet her computer-selected "perfect mate." For Mariss Sakari, its anything but an easy voyage. First she clashes with Captain Kade Land, a cynical, down-on-his-luck space jockey with a questionable past. To make matters worse, crooked interstellar cops are on his tail.
After a crash landing in the wilderness, Kade agrees to escort Mariss to the colony where her future husband waits for her. Together, they embark on a trek across a startlingly beautiful, sometimes deadly, alien landscape. Kade grows to love Mariss, but she insists on sticking to her plan. Kade knows in his gut that love cant be programmed. But convincing the emotionally wounded Mariss could take an eon.
With fast-paced action, a contemporary feel, and an entertaining science-fiction twist, One Perfect Mate is the story of two people too different from each other not to be a perfect match.

A renegade hero, a spirited heroine, a unique story, and enough sizzle to sear flesh best describe ONE PERFECT MATE. Tracy Cozzens thinks out-of-the-box and gifts us with a novel both fresh and original. An alpha male that leaves one breathless is a perfect foil for the delicate, but intelligent heroine; combine them in a setting lush and tropical with enough adventure to keep the heart rate a constant high and youve got a novel impossible to put down. Steamy, sensuous, and sinfully rich, ONE PERFECT MATE is one perfect book.Kathee Card

"Absolutely phenomenal! I devoured the entire 400+ pages almost overnight as I simply could not stop reading. The tension between Mariss and Kade is wonderfully done and moves the story along so quickly I could hardly turn the pages fast enough. This story has intrigue, drama, a heroine to root for, a hero to die for and enough sexual tension to melt snow. This is, without a doubt, one of the best stories I've read and I'm anxiously awaiting Tracy Cozzens' next one."

"Five Hearts. If you have never read a science fiction romance, then ONE PERFECT MATE is a perfect starting place. The science doesn't overwhelm, the fiction is excellent (making suspension of disbelief easy), and the romance is torrid. What more can an author give you? I don't know, but I suspect that Ms. Cozzens has many more delicious reads to share with her fans. I do know that she won a Golden Heart last year, after being a finalist in three genres in that competition. Congratulations, Ms. Cozzens, and thanks for a great read."Under the Covers

"Very Highly Recommended. A science romance, ONE PERFECT MATE fairly sizzles with sexual tension, and it is woven in and around a devious, complicated plot that is full of action, set on an exceptionally well-built world, and peopled by well-realized characters. But above all else, it was a book that I read in one sitting, enjoyed, was amazed by, and intend to read again."Word Museum

"Genuinely romantic without being too icky sweet, adventurous without being too bloody or overly violent. The heart and soul of the story struck true. Yes, the "perfect man" you think you want is often nothing like the one you finally fall in love with. Yes, short dark guys with big noses and chips on their shoulders can be really sexy. Yes, sometimes you can feel ugly and unappealing, despite all evidence to the contrary. Yes, sex can be better than ever when you forget about trying to be perfect. Yes, really smart women can make terribly stupid romantic choices. And then there was that super-fun, retro Stepford Wives angle. But that part you'll have to read for yourself."
