FRANK STALLONE

Frank was in town to visit with some friends and to do a couple of shows in the NJ area so he joined Randy Now and I for an hour long radio interview at WTSR at The College of New Jersey. Joining him on the air was his long time friends, band-mates and collaborators Bob Tangrea, Jody Giambelluca and Bruce Foster as well as Mary Muehleisen whose brother Maury was a major influence and help to Frank early in his career.

Here's a few pics from Frank's appearance at The Record Collector
in Bordentown, NJ on April 24, 2009

Frank put on a terrific show in the intimate setting of the store's Living Room Concert Series. A very receptive crowd of Frank's fans from his days with the band Valentine and many friends from his old neighborhood back in Philly enjoyed a set filled with his hits from various stages of his long career and some of his favorite cover tunes. Frank's good friend, talented multi-instrumentalist Bob Tangrea joined him onstage for the first time in close to 30 years. With no rehearsal they did a few songs that they had played together as teens back in the late sixties when they first joined forces in a very early version of Valentine.  After the show he spent quite a while posing for pictures, signing autographs and reconnecting with old friends.
